Though the Passover animal had to be a yearling (no more than a year old), what was the youngest age allowed for the animal?

Any animal sacrifice, of which the Passover was one, could not be offered under eight days old inclusive reckoning (Leviticus 22:27). On the eighth day, however, the Passover animal could be cooked and eaten.
