Faith the size of a mustard seed WILL NOT remove mountains. People have long misunderstood what Christ meant by his parable. Christ said that faith "as a grain of mustard seed" (Matthew 17:20). Note the word "as" it shows comparison. Does this mean one should maintain a faith as small as a mustard seed? No! "The kingdom of heaven is like to a mustard seed which is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, is the greatest among herbs." Christ indicated that faith ("as a grain of mustard seed") grows into a giant faith. Though the mustard seed is small, when it is grown it is "the greatest among herbs." This is the faith which can remove mountains. No one but Christ has had such a full grown faith like this.
