August 2002 Newsletter is Ready

This months August Newsletter and two (2) Articles concern one current news story and one ancient news story. 

The first article "Biblical Vows and their Present Significance" relates directly to the recent controversy about a U.S. Circuit court ruling about the Pledge of Allegiance. 

The second article "Is David’s Throne in Existence Today?" discusses the possibility that the physical throne of King David of Israel may exist, buried somewhere. Such a speculation was made when Dr. Martin was in Jerusalem between 1968 and 1973 in the summers supervising students participating in the archeological dig of Professor Benjamin Mazar on the southern edge of the Haram esh-Sharif in Jerusalem.
